Leaving the Tadoussac Harbor for the last time, we head down river again. Today we will cross the St. Lawrence River, from the north side where we have been for the last couple of weeks to the south side where we will continue heading east and out toward the open ocean. Today’s goal is the city of Rimouski.
Leaving the Tadoussac Harbor for the last time.
The beautiful and BIG St. Lawrence River. We are grateful the weather is clear and the wind is gentle, making for modest waves as we cross the mighty river.
This is an amazing river. Traveling at 29 mph the depth gauge shows we are in 1,089 feet of water!

We arrived at the port and harbor of Rimouski, Quebec with no problems. It is a very good and protected harbor. On the way we stopped for an hour to watch whales surfacing all around us just outside the Tadoussac Harbor. Great fun!
