St Lawrence River to Montreal – Day 18

On day 18 we started at 6 a.m. to get into a lock before other commercial traffic came. Worked great and gave us a good jump on the day. Wet through our final 4 locks and under two draw bridges and made it to Montreal by 5 p.m.

Staying at the Montreal Yacht Club right in the center of the city.

St Lawrence River to Montreal – Day 18 — 2 Comments

  1. Too bad the weather wasn’t cooperating!

You must be hearing the race cars pretty well, being docked just beside Notre-Dame island…

Hope you’ll have some nice weather this weekend to in order to take the opportunity to stroll through the old Montreal

    • Hi Steve. The weather has not been too good but we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves in Montreal. The old city is beautiful and full of so much charm, and yes we have heard the formula 1 cars racing all day.
