We left Gaspe, Quebec and headed for the town of Perce with its famous Hole in the Rock. From there we headed to the town with a small marina of Chandler, also in the Province of Quebec. We traveled about 65 miles by boat today and got into some 5-6 foot swells as we rounded the point near Perce.

From several miles away the huge rock wall with a very large hole in it, becomes visible, just outside the town of Perce.
As we approached Perce there were tall multi-colored cliffs along the shoreline.

We rounded the rock and got better lighting of this magnificent natural beauty.

Hi Rick. Yes, we really are having a terrific and fascinating trip. Some has been more excitement…like the gas sparks and fire incident…than we wanted but all in all it has been just terrific so far. Cari is being a trooper on the days like today (day 38) when the seas are a bit rough, but I am also trying to keep the speed down on those few rough days that we have had so far and that sure helps to soften the ride. Looking forward to being with you guys on the Vineyard later in the summer!
