We head out on a lovely calm day from Bouctouche, NB as we now leave beautiful New Brunswick and head to Summerside on Prince Edward Island (PEI).

Heading out on calm waters.
Lovely scene as we leave Bouctouche.

Rounding the lighthouse at the end of a very long jetty and going into Summerside PEI harbor.

End of long dock in Summerside harbor.

Canadian Coast Guard docked just inside inner marina at Summerside, PEI.

First view of fun shops along marina dock in Summerside, PEI.

Continuing to enter Summerside marina.

We got a great spot in the marina.

More of the Summerside marina later in the day.

Friendly local fellow boater with his nicely rebuilt lobster boat converted into a great cruising boat.

More friendly local boaters…Blair and Maureen who live in Summerside.

On the side of a building at the marina is this amazing painting of a 3-masted barque. It is the ‘Charles E. LeFurgey’ built in Summerside in 1884.

Bruno and friend!

Cari visiting with boater at the marina.

A closer look at some of the shops along the boardwalk by the marina…at low tide.

We took a walk along the beach heading out of town.

The Summerside Harbor on PEI later in the afternoon.

A sailboat returning to the harbor, taken from a restaurant balcony. The muscles and clam chowder were great!

We head back to our boat at the end of another great day.
What lovely colored shops. Everything looks so bright and friendly. Sure am enjoying following you on your trip.
