We spent the day biking around Quebec City.
One of the things we brought on the trip were two collapsible bicycles. These fold at the base of the handlebars and in the middle of the frame. They have small wheels and five gears so they really are ideal for a boat. You certainly can’t go as fast as with a large-wheeled bike, but it gives us an added dimension of capability to go places and see things on our own.

iboats’ boat moored in the marina.

Quebec City marina, right in the city.

Biking along the river with Quebec City a few miles behind us.

Heading out for a 20 mile bike ride along the St. Lawrence River, heading upstream and back by bike.

I pumped up the tires until they were rock-hard and hoped it would hold me. It did!

Here we are at the dock area with the Holland American Line cruise ship Maasdam in port behind us along with the wonderful city skyline.
