Sunday in Bathurst, NB. Our last day before heading on. The weather was nice with sun and mild wind.
This picture shows high tide at the marina docks.
This picture shows low tide at the same place at the Bathurst docks.
After church we and another visiting couple , Geri and Richard Gallant from PEI, were invited to lunch at the home of Sonia and Doug Turner from Bathurst. We had a terrific time. Very nice and kind people.
Sonia Turner is an accomplished and skilled sea glass collector. She also makes lovely sea glass jewelry.
Seagulls are a problem for boaters worldwide as they like to sit on the outside of boats at docks or moorings and in the process deposit quite a mess. Owls are the enemy of seagulls so marinas often use fake owls to keep the gulls away. It works.
Another shot of a fake owl on guard against seagulls.
Elder Shields and his wife Laraine visit in our boat in the late afternoon. Great people.
